Hitoiki II – An Ode to Serene Simplicity
Hitoiki II” was born out of a deep appreciation for nature’s quiet moments—the kind of moments when the world feels still, and all you can hear is the whisper of the wind weaving through tall grass. The design was inspired by those peaceful, fleeting seconds that offer a sense of clarity and grounding, a pause from the noise of daily life. We wanted to capture that sensation on a surface, turning it into something you could live with and come back to every day.
The brushstrokes were crafted to mimic the organic flow of nature, imperfect yet harmonious. I worked with muted tones intentionally, aiming to evoke a sense of calm and balance, while letting the minimalistic details speak for themselves. The final result feels like standing on a quiet plain at dawn—soft, serene, and effortlessly beautiful.
